BFI – Institute for vocational advancement is an Upper Austrian vocational training institution that meets the new requirements of the 21st century’s labour market. It has become a market leader in all variations of re-entry into the job market, second chance education and vocational qualification in health, social and other service jobs. It provides an integrated spectrum of education and training covering all qualification levels – including university degrees – for both professional and occupational applications afford a significant edge to both single participants in training courses or seminars and to organisations, companies or special interest groups.

BFI Upper Austria provides vocational education and training in a wide context of areas.
The educational activities especially focus on training schemes aimed at the (re-)integration of unemployed persons or persons disadvantaged in the labour market. The pertinent educational and occupational schemes are designed and organised in close co-operation with the Austrian Public Employment Service (AMS) and companies.

The organisation is located in 45 different places in 5 regions. The employes are more than 1300 and more than they welcome about 51 000 participants.

Apfelstrudel – applestrudel

Zutaten für 1 Strudel = 12 Portionen

Teig:

  • 200 g Mehl Type 700
  • 20 ml Öl
  • Salz
  • 125 ml warmes Wasser
  • Mehl zum Ausarbeiten
  • Butter, zerlassen

Fülle:

  • 100 g Semmelbrösel
  • 80 g Butter zum Rösten der Brösel
  • 800 g Äpfel, säuerlich
  • 80 g Zimtzucker
  • 50 g Rosinen in Rum eingelegt
  • Zitronensaft
  • Butter zum Bestreichen

Ingredients for 1 strudel = 12 portions

dough:

  • 200 g flour, type 700
  • 20 ml oil
  • salt
  • 125 ml warm water
  • flour for rolling out the dough
  • melted butter

filling:

  • 100 g breadcrumbs
  • 80 g butter for frying the breadcrumbs
  • 800 g apples, sour
  • 80 g cinnamon-sugar
  • 50 g raisins pickled in rum
  • dash of lemon juice
  • butter to coat the dough
